- Alcatel Club (older monoband models): cable is suitable only for service purposes, NOT for working with phone books and SMS because these phones has no such features.
- Alcatel db (newer dualband models) and 3xx: cable is suitable only for service purposes, NOT for working with phone books and SMS because these phones has no such features.
- Alcatel 501 a 701 data/fax: cable is suitable only for data purposes (working with phone books, SMS and so on and for using with hardware modem). It's NOT for service purposes.
- Bosch 5xx, 7xx CBUS: cable is suitable only for service purposes, NOT for working with phone books and SMS because these phones has no such features.
- Bosch 6xx CBUS: cable is suitable for service and data purposes. It can be used for working with phone book and SMS (PC Editor for Windows 3.1).
- Bosch 9xx CBUS: cable is suitable only for service purposes.
- Bosch 9xx data/fax: cable is suitable for data/fax calls (hardware modem) and working with phone book and SMS.
- Ericsson 6xx, 7xx, 8xx, A1018s, T10s, T18s, R250s: cable is suitable for service and data purposes - working with phone book(s) and SMS and possibly for using a hardware modem (for models with one) or using with a software modem (for example TDK Global Pulse).
- Ericsson T20s, T28s, T29s, T39m, A2618s, A2628s, R320s, R310s, R380s, R520m, T65, T68, R600 data: cable is suitable only for data purposes - working with phone book(s) and SMS and possibly for using a hardware modem (for models with one) or using with a software modem (for example TDK Global Pulse).
- Ericsson T20s, T28s, T29s, T39m, A2618s, A2628s, R320s, R310s, R380s, R520m, T65, T68, R600 flash: cable is suitable only for service purposes.
- Motorola CD920, CD930, StarTac, Timeport L7089/P7389/250, V.3688, V.3690, V.50: all these models have very strange feature - using a data cable appeare as without a hardware modem. You have to install Motorola SmartCellect software - see website about SmartCellect. Models with an infrared port HAS hardware modem and using it is without any problems. Using cables with SmartCellect installed you can work with phone book(s) and SMS and for data/fax calls. They cannot be used for service purposes.
- Motorola V.66, V.60, V.70, T720(i), T722i, T280, V300: cables can be used for working with SMS, phone books, data/fax transfers, graphics, melodies and Java applications upload.
- Nokia 3110, 8110 FBUS/MBUS: cables can be used either for service purposes (most often via MBUS) or for data purposes - working with phone book and SMS (FBUS) and possibly for using with software modem (Nokia Cellular Data Suite 1.0).
- Nokia 51xx, 61xx: cables can be used either for service purposes (most often via MBUS) or for data purposes - working with phone book(s), SMS and logos (LogoManager) and possibly for using with software modem (Nokia Cellular Data Suite 2.0, Nokia Data Suite 3.0, LINUX project gnokii).
- Nokia 3210, 3310, 3330, 5510, 8210, 8850: cables can be used finitely either for service purposes (most often via MBUS), or for data purposes - working with phone book(s), SMS, logos and ring tones (LogoManager).
WARNING! You have to connect above mentioned cables only innside of the phone. Contacts are either near by accumulator (3210) or under the accumulator (other models).
- Nokia 7110, 6210, 6310 FBUS/MBUS: cables can be used finitely either for service purposes (most often via MBUS), or for working with phone book(s), SMS, logos and ring tones (LogoManager). It CANNOT be used for data/fax calls and for using original Nokia software!
- Nokia 7110, 6210, 6310 data/fax: cables are compatible with original Nokia cable DLR-3. You can use it for working with phone book(s), SMS, logos and ring tones including original Nokia software and for data/fax calls of course.
- Nokia 6100, 6610, 6220, 6230, 7210, 7250(i) data/fax: cables are compatible with original Nokia cable DKU-5. You can use it for working with phone book(s), SMS, logos and ring tones including original Nokia software and for data/fax calls of course.
- Panasonic G450/500, G520/600: cable is suitable for service purposes and maximally for using with an software modem (NOT TESTED!).
- Panasonic GD 30, 50, 70, 90 flash: cable is suitable only for service purposes.
- Panasonic GD 30, 50, 70, 90 data: cables are suitable for working with phone book(s) and for using with an software modem.
- Panasonic GD 52, 67, 75, 76, 87, 92, 93, 95, 96 flash: cable is suitable only for service purposes.
- Panasonic GD 67, 75, 76, 87, 92, 93, 95, 96 data: cables are suitable for working with phone book(s) and for data/fax connections (for models without a hardware modem there is needed a software modem).
- Philips Savvy: cable is suitable only for service purposes.
- Philips Azalis, Xenium, Ozeo, Fisio flash: cable is suitable only for service purposes and for other models with the same system connector.
- Philips Azalis, Xenium, Ozeo data: cables are compatible with original Philips cable and are suitable for working with phone book(s) and SMS and for data/fax calls. Cables work only with models which can communicate with a computer.
- Philips Fision 620, 625, 820, 825 (USB data): cables are compatible with original Philips cable and are suitable for working with phone book(s) and SMS and for data/fax calls.

- Siemens C30: cable is suitable only for service purposes, NOT for working with phone books and SMS because these phones has no such features.

- Sony CMDX-2000: cable is suitable for working with phone book(s) and SMS and for using with the software modem (Siemens Soft Data Link).
- Sony CMD-CD5, CMD-Z5: cable is suitable for working with phone book(s) and SMS and for using with hardware (Z5) or software (CD5) modem.
